Jeff is the founding partner of Purcell Moretto CPA Inc. He started the firm in 2001, incorporated in 2005 and has been steadily growing his client base and team ever since. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University and obtained his accounting designation in 1996. Most of his clients from the early 2000’s are still his clients today. This impressive client retention is a testament to his high level of client service and sound business advice.

Kyle joined the firm in 2015 after completing his bachelor of Commerce at Saint Mary’s University. He earned his CPA designation in 2020 and has become a partner in the firm in October 2025. Kyle is client focused, an excellent communicator and results oriented. Kyle is a mentor to new staff and leads most of the firms engagements.

Chris joined the firm in 2022 after receiving his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Saint Mary’s University. He immediately enrolled into the CPA program of studies and received his CPA designation in 2024. Chris works in client engagements of almost every industry and size. He is also a mentor to Co-op Students.

Laurie is a graduate of Compu College from Charlottetown, PEI.
She has been with the firm for over 20 years and ensures things run smoothly. Whether it is assisting a client with obtaining their CRA on-line account or assisting clients with their tax obligations, her hands on approach is welcomed by the team and clients. Laurie also does some client bookkeeping and payroll and assists with the many forms of compliance.

Chey joined the team in 2020 after completing her diploma from maritime Business College and quickly became a QuickBooks Pro Advisor followed by a Certified Professional Bookkeeper. QuickBooks Online (QBO) has become a popular accounting program for a lot of clients and Chey’s experience in this area is invaluable. She also helps clients bookkeeping needs who use the Sage 50 platform. Chey also has extensive experience with payroll and HST.
